Super Soco CUx Ducati edition
Meet the Super Soco CUx Ducati Edition—a sleek, city-smart electric moped that combines Italian racing heritage with modern, eco-friendly tech. Designed in collaboration with Ducati, this limited-edition model turns heads with its bold red livery and sporty design inspired by MotoGP.
But it’s not just about looks—the CUx is packed with practical features too. With a whisper-quiet electric motor, it glides smoothly through city streets, offering a top speed of around 28 mph (45 km/h) and a range of up to 40 miles on a single charge. It’s ideal for daily commutes, quick errands, or just cruising around town.
Charging is simple—just plug it in at home, work, or anywhere with a standard socket. It also comes with LED lighting, a digital display, and smartphone connectivity, so you stay connected while riding clean.
Whether you're new to two wheels or looking for a stylish upgrade, the Super Soco CUx Ducati Edition brings together the best of both worlds: Ducati’s legendary flair and Super Soco’s electric innovation.
Features and further details
Motor:
The CUx’s Bosch motor is tucked neatly in the rear wheel, delivering smooth electric power with up to 2.8kW at peak. It cruises comfortably up to 28mph, and in unrestricted versions, can even reach around 36mph. There are three ride modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport—though most riders will likely stick with Sport for the best performance. Acceleration is gentle, making it a great fit for city rides or anyone used to 50cc scooters. Just keep in mind: slower speeds mean more range, but either way, it’s built for calm, clean urban travel.
Speed:
By default, the CUx is limited to 28mph so it fits within the moped category and can be ridden from age 16. If you’re a bit older, there’s the option to remove the speed restriction, letting you reach speeds in the mid-30s—perfect for getting a little extra out of your ride. Just keep in mind that once unrestricted, it’s no longer suitable for 16-year-olds.
Battery:
The CUx runs on a single battery tucked neatly under the seat. Weighing around 10kg, it's surprisingly light compared to many others.
On a full charge, Super Soco says you can get up to 40 miles of range—but in real-world use, around 30 miles is more realistic.
The battery needs to be removed to charge and plugs into a regular 3-pin socket. It’s a 60v / 30Ah unit and takes about 4 hours to fully charge. Don’t worry though—removing it is quick and easy, taking just a few seconds.
Seat Height and Riding Position
With a seat height of just 770mm and a slim design, the CUx is easy to hop on and feels very accessible for most riders.
That said, taller riders might find foot space a bit limited—something to keep in mind if you're planning to ride regularly. For shorter trips, though, the upright seating position is comfortable and well-suited to city riding.
The seat itself is slightly firm but supportive, and importantly, it keeps you in place—no slipping and sliding around while you ride.
